Hi I’m Frederik!
I am a Belgian musician, solo flute of the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra, hooked on cross-country rallying & roadbook navigation. Off-roading became a part of my life after moving to Spain — Spanish backcountry is simply incredible to explore by bike. Soon, I was crafting my own roadbooks to make the navigation more challenging.
The dots connected when I met Lyndon Poskitt — I began designing FIM SPEC roadbooks for technical training programs.
These programs were in partnerhsip with LPR as well as for private Dakar teams like HT Rally Raid. I have been making professional roadbooks ever since. Currently, I also design roadbooks for special events in collaboration with companies like Fosil Trips. Additionally, I develop projects for unique adventure trips across Europe like this year’s Husqvarna Trek.
My roadbooks are some of the best in the industry. Undeniably, this is thanks to my musical background — extreme precision is required.
I take each roadbook design as seriously as I take the preparation for my concerts. Subsequently, their design is of the highest standard. Between Spain, Portugal & Morocco I’ve developed over 10,000kms of roadbooks and I meticulously analyse and rigorously test each one.
